TRAINING & SAFETY

Link Field Services, Inc. expects high standards in safety from all personnel. With safety playing such a paramount and integral part in everyday life situations, Link Field Services, Inc. stresses many programs and training functions to equip our personnel for work and home situations. For example, we provide CPR and Safety Driving courses for all personnel. Link Field Services, Inc. provides weekly safety meetings as well as monthly safety programs developed by Blakeman & Associates to keep our employees up‐to‐date with all safety measures and regulations. We team with CINTAS to supply all of our safety supplies. Link Field Services, Inc. is a member of ISNetwork, Veriforce, and OQSG (Operators Qualifications Solution Group). In addition most of our DOT field personnel are safety trained through the Contractors Safety Council for OXEA Site Specifics and the Basic Orientation and have their TWIC cards.

Link Field Services, Inc. (Mapping Division) requires all DOT field employees to complete and pass the following task through Veriforce:

  • CCT – 606: Locate and Mark Submerged Pipelines
  • CCT - 703: Placing/Maintaining Line Markers
  • SCE – 030: Perform/Observe Ground Leak Survey/Patrol SCE
  • SSCGPOQ – 355: Place and Maintain Pipeline Markers

Link Field Services, Inc. (Mapping Division) requires all DOT field employees to complete and pass the following task through OQSG (Operator Qualification Solutions Group):

  • CT 15: Place and Maintain Line Markers
  • CT 16G: Inspecting Surface Conditions of Right‐of‐Way and Perform Leak Surveys for Gas Pipelines
  • CT 16L: Inspecting Surface Conditions of Right‐of‐Way and Perform Leak Surveys for Liquid Pipelines
  • CT 17: Inspect Navigable Waterway Crossings
  • CT 19: Provide Temporary Marking of Buried Pipeline Prior to Excavation
  • CT 31: Inspection of Clearance of Existing Pipe to Underground Structures
  • CT 45: Perform Leakage Survey
